Work behind the scenes with professionals!

Join our three week after-school film education workshop for teenage filmmakers interested in expanding their knowledge of nonfiction moviemaking techniques!

Young filmmakers will produce short documentary profiles of visiting filmmakers at the 34th Starz Denver Film Festival. Students will immerse themselves in a Festival filmmaking environment by interacting with professionals, attending screenings, and participating on a production team. Final projects will screen before select films at this year's festival.

October 25 - November 10 

Tuesday through Thursdays after School (4-8 PM)

Tuition: $450.00

Students will:

-Learn from and interact with professional filmmakers in a film festival environment

-Expand nonfiction film making techniques

-Gain experience in a professional filmmaking environment through participation in defined production roles

-Attend select screenings by festival filmmakers

Open to any young filmmaker between the ages of 14 and 19. All students must have prior filmmaking experience and a working knowledge of the production process.
