General Purpose:

ACT is seeking a contributor to join our global marketing team to take responsibility for leading ACT’s global video, animation and graphic content initiatives to produce a full range of media including still images, animations, audio, text & video.​

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce graphic & visual content for applications including but not limited to web commercials, demonstrations, advertisements, video clips, vignettes, training, press releases & website content
  • Work closely with & have a solid understanding of the Product & Marketing team’s purpose to achieve results and meet business objectives
  • Create video and animation content supporting Product and Marketing needs
  • Create visual design frameworks and assets for a variety of purposes and maintain style guides
  • Work with user experience and user interface developers to understand and effectively communicate the user benefits of ACT’s design element, functionality and services
  • Create Power Point presentations and graphics in support of customer presentations, demos and speaking engagements
  • Recommend techniques & treatments & take original concepts through to completion using independent judgment across various communication mediums to ensure graphic deliverables
  • Produce static and animated graphics for video portions of electronic broadcasts and website commercials.​
  • Communicate & Coordinate with marketing, web content and web technical staff to define visual communication requirements that implements & delivers the intended purpose.​
  • Participate in team work sessions
  • Work with Legal to ensure compliance
  • Must possess an artistic approach for creating videos, graphics and animated content through products that inspire & create emotional resonance

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design or related discipline
  • Marketing communications or agency experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Graphic & visual design experience, with emphasis on video and animation creation and production
  • Skilled in After Effects, Video Editing, Sound Editing, Illustrator skills, 3D animation
  • Skilled in with Adobe Creative Suite 4 or above, including Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
  • ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax skills and user interface design a plus
  • Strong office computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a plus
  • Possess problem solving & critical thinking skills with an ability to adapt to constraints, ability to work independently & collaboratively with team members, clients, vendors and contractors.​
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of web programming, animation techniques, electronic illustration, multi-page document layout, presentation graphics, promotional packaging, and other production techniques
  • Strong knowledge of available external graphic design, printing, publication resources and the proven ability to leverage graphics production tools and software to create deliverables

Certificates or Training Required or Recommended:

  • Web design experience
  • Marketing and branding experience a plus
  • Animation and video editing experience required

Work Environment:

  • Professional environment at ACT’s corporate headquarters in Lakewood Colorado.​
  • Some limited international travel to Europe, Hong Kong, Australia or Canada may be required.​
