Forensic Animator
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Forensic Animator’s primary responsibilities will be:
• Create scene files from survey data
• Create 3D terrains
• Model exemplar and accident (crushed) vehicles
• Model CG environments using advanced techniques for lighting, photomatching and rendering
• Animate Bipeds/characters
• Composite Animations
• Capture video taken from inspection or provided footage
• Video tracking and matching (i.e. matchmoving)
• Photogrammetry
• Develop DVDs of final animations
• Design graphics and court exhibits
• Use survey equipment during occasional business travel for vehicle and scene inspections
Qualifications Required:
• College education
• Advanced 3D Modeling/Animation skills
• Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop
• Microsoft Office
• Well organized, detail oriented, fast learner
• Must work well in a team environment
• Ability to solve problems; analytical thinking
• Multi-tasking; deadline management
• Strong stomach (you will encounter photographs of fatal accident scenes)
• Creative and passionate about the field of animation
• Sense of humor
Qualifications Preferred:
• Masters degree
• 2+ years experience in a professional environment
• Strong background in mathematics and physics
• Autodesk 3DSMax and Autodesk AutoCAD
• Anark Studio v4 and v5
• Eos Systems Photomodeler v5 and v6
• Programming experience
