Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design seeks qualified applicants for Full Time Faculty position in the College's 3D Animation Department for the Online BFA degree program. RMCAD is a small, premier college certified by HLC and NASAD offering degrees in fine and applied arts. The 3D Animation Department is housed within the School of Design and Applied Arts.
Candidates must have industry experience in Animation or related field and/or a terminal degree in Animation or related field of study (MA, MS, MFA, or other related degree). Terminal degrees in progress will be considered. Candidates must have significant professional experience in the content area they will teach (ie., MAYA, Zbrush, etc.) and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
Areas of expertise include the following:
-Film Production, Scriptwriting & Direction
-3D Character Animation, 3D Generalist
-Technical Direction, Visual EFX, Modeling, Rigging
-Mel/Python Scripting, Programming
-Traditional Animation, Animation History, Animation Business Practices
