The Cowtown Alternative Comix Festival is a new event where you can meet Denver comics creators that are making unusual, personal, artistic, and/or literary comics outside the mainstream, view their work, and hear them talk. (And, uh, buy their stuff!)
Exhibitors include: Lonnie Allen (The Navel Gazer), Will Barnes (2nd Place Comics), John Bueno (Fat With Glasses), Timothy Foss (Sydney Arthur), Patty Leidy (Zero Hour), Ozzy Longoria (Gemini Comics), John Peters (Forty Winks), John Porcellino (King-Cat Comics), Ron Ruelle (Chevelle World), Felix Tannenbaum (Chronicles of Some Made), Noah Van Sciver (Westword/Blammo), and Stan Yan (Subculture).
The Fest will be held Saturday June 27, 2009, from 1-5 PM at:

Admission is Free!
Parking options include nearby hourly pay lots, metered street parking, or free two-hour parking on Wewatta Street (as available). Or park in Capitol Hill and take the Free 16th Street Shuttle! Or ride your bike! Or walk!
