Representative Anne McGihon?one of the key sponsors of House Bill 09-1010 that provides transferable/saleable tax credits for video game/interactive media development, has graciously agreed to come to our next event on Monday, April 6, 2009 and explain the bill to us and answer any questions you may have.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and will be held at the DeVry University campus located at 1870 West 122nd Avenue, Westminster, Colorado 80234-2010, Room 300. Please RSVP to this evite.
This bill started out covering only the film and video industries but was expanded to include video games and other interactive media technologies as well. If you know anyone else who might have an interest in or may be impacted by this important piece of legislation, please feel free to forward this email to them.
You should make it a point to attend this meeting, not only because it's in your best interest to have a thorough grasp of this legislation, but also to show Rep. McGihon that there is a real industry here. Feel free to invite your staff, employees, and/or students to the meeting as well.
